Providing care can be tough, but it's also very rewarding. We take pride in working hard and making a positive impact on our jobs. The way our care home is set up is different from others. Talking to our leaders is easy because we don't have a complicated hierarchy. The leaders at The Grand Cedars Nursing Home are always available and are right there in the main households. In our care home, everyone works together as a team to give the best care. No one person is more important than another because we all play a crucial role in providing exceptional care.

The Grand Cedars Nursing Home is an important part of the local community. We consider ourselves good neighbors and contribute a lot because many residents and staff live nearby. We are lucky to have plenty of space, and local groups often use our common areas. We love getting involved in school projects that bring different generations together, and we make an effort to support local businesses by buying their products and services. As a group, we participate in three big fundraising projects each year for Macmillan Cancer Support, Dementia Awareness, and The Care Workers' Foundation, where The Grand Cedars Nursing Home is a Gold Supporter. Our homes also get involved in local initiatives, like shaving heads for a hospice, participating in sponsored walks, or raising funds to make someone's dream come true. In The Grand Cedars Nursing Home care facilities, there are always meaningful activities happening.
